A trek of 2 kms. of moderate difficulty has to be undertaken to reach the property.
Staff will guide and assist you from the last motorable point at Jajri.
Our Rooms
The Barei Jungle Lodge has two bedroom sets that sleep 4 adults each. The property originally consisted of a basic double storied cabin as well as an old Kath-Khuni cottage made of wood, stone and mud with a wooden shingle roof, a feature which you will probably have not seen elsewhere. The Spartan two storied cabin has now been built around and it now houses three rustic yet luxurious rooms.
THE JOT PASS SUITE
The Jot Pass Suite is a set with one Master Bedroom and one independent room. It is named after the mountain pass which is only an 8 km. hike away. It features include:-
- Hardwood floor.
- Deodhar Ceiling.
- Wood Fired Heater to warm you on cold nights.
- Attached sunroom with glass windows.
- 4 Beds that can be configured according to your prior instructions.
- Attached luxurious washroom with shower, towel warmers, heating bulbs.
- Outdoor verandah.
THE KANTHLY FOREST SUITE
This suite located on the ground floor is named after the Kanthly Forest Guest house that is located about 2 kms from the lodge.
